The CDFI of the Tohono O’odham Nation is committed to addressing the ongoing interest of its client base. Through a variety of financial products and services it now offers and is continuing to develop in order to fulfill our purpose of:
- Offering financial products: making loans for economic projects and business.
- Providing development services within the Tohono O’odham Nation.
- Promoting financial literacy and small business technical expertise.
- Assembling capital for tribal businesses.
We currently offer:
Loans – To individuals, small businesses and government entities. This includes assembling capitol for: start-up loans, expansion loans, EQIP (Environmental Quality Incentives Program) loans. Soon to include personal or employee loans for tribal employees and Housing Renovation Loans to Districts.
Financial Literacy Training – To Individuals and community members, With the Assistance and support of First Nations Development Institute to develop and present curriculum to community members in the areas of: Economics, budgeting, saving strategies and credit use. Additional training programs include credit repair and tax workshops, while incorporating O’odham values and traditional culture.
Technical Assistance – To Individuals, businesses and Districts. Providing assistance in business planning, financial planning, credit use and other aspect of business development.
